Results of scientific and experimental-theoretical researches of building structures of metal and wood. It is assigned for scientific workers, specialists of design organizations and manufacturing enterprises of construction domain, postgraduates, masters of educational institutions.
The purpose of the publication is to summaries and disseminate the results of scientific and experimental-theoretical research in the field of design, calculation and operation of metal and wooden building structures, as well as to promote the development of modern structural solutions and the introduction of innovative technologies in the construction industry.
The objectives of the publication are: to highlight current scientific and applied research in the field of metal and wooden building structures; to present the results of experimental and theoretical research aimed at improving the reliability, efficiency and durability of structures; exchange of scientific and practical achievements between researchers, specialists from design institutions and manufacturing enterprises in the construction industry; support for the scientific activities of postgraduate and master's students at higher education institutions and promotion of their professional development; creation of a platform for discussing current issues and prospects for the development of metal and wooden building structures.
Since 2026, the collection of scientific works "Modern structures of metal and wood" has adhered to an open access polisy under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (СС BY 4.0) international licence, and all of its content is free for users.
Articles whose sole authors are students pursuing a third-level higher education qualification (Doctor of Philosophy) under a state-funded programme (one author with no co-authors) are exempt from publication fees. To qualify for this exemption, the author must submit to the editorial office a certificate or other document confirming that he or she is a PhD candidate.
Payment is due only after confirmation that the article has been accepted for publication. The cost of publishing an article in Ukrainian is 800 UAH; in English, 500 UAH.
